Planet Energy guarantees that all green power purchases are from Eco-logo certified generation facilities that meet the strict standards criteria of Terra Choice Marketing and Environment Canada's Eco-logo program. For more information on the Eco-logo criteria, view criteria document.

Planet Energy also guarantees that all carbon offsets purchased are from projects that meet the standards of the Voluntary Carbon Standard program and are verified by third party auditors and are registered on a valid VCS registry platform. For more information, visit VCS.

Planet Energy performs annual third party audits confirming that our green power and carbon offset purchases meet our marketing claims and contractual agreements. Our next audit for year ending March 31, 2010 will be posted here for public review.
